Instead of crowded beaches we propose a tranquil spot to relax and recharge your batteries.

The prices shown are seasonal (currently 52, 59 and 65 € per night) and refer to bookings for up to 2 people with a minimum stay of 5 nights. Exceptions (3 or 4 nights) are possible on request, especially in the low season, but at the highest seasonal rate.
For an extra bed and a 3rd person we charge an additional 12 €/night, and for your pet 8 €/night. Children up to 5 years stay for free.
On request, our cook will serve you breakfast and traditional menus freshly prepared at the desired time directly to your table. You can also order local products such as milk, sheep's and cow's cheese, honey, homemade zacusca and jam, pickles, wine and schnapps and much more.

The studio apartment is located in the pastoral village of Vale right at the feet of the Carpathian Mountains. On the one hand a quiet and relaxing place, on the other hand just around the corner from Sibiu and several sights in Romania.

The only through traffic consists of one or two horse-drawn carts that bring in the hay from the neighboring hills. The view goes into forested mountains and far over the Transylvania plateau, and this mixture quickly soothes even virulent stress hormones.
A good choice for lovers of nature and originality wishing to discover Transylvania in a setting of rural serenity. And perfect for singles and couples on their holidays in Romania.

We rent out this one-room apartment (28 sqm) since June 2013. It is located on the ground floor of the newly built main house Casa Zollo and has a private entrance as well as its own terrace, kitchen, and bathroom.
While building the studio we've handled every square meter with attention to detail, and today you can expect an exceptional cleanliness and a relaxing atmosphere all over the place.

Of course, on your arrival you will find a freshly made bed. An extra bed is possible. Furnishings include a LED-TV with international channels (Astra-Sat), fast internet access via WiFi, and a kitchenette. It is fully equipped for self-catering with a gas stove, fridge, coffee and espresso makers, as well as a toaster, kettle, spices, and plenty of dishes.
On request, we provide local products from the village, and if you want to take a break from cooking, our cook serves freshly prepared traditional menus straight to the table.
The bathroom is equipped with a washing machine, WC, washstand, and a shower. Towels, shower gel, and soap are also waiting for you.

The interior of the holiday flat was carefully chosen and is high quality, including the sanitary installation, kitchen utensils, linen, and mattress. All the furniture, doors and windows were made to measure. The solar-assisted central heating is controlled by a gas heater, and in spring and autumn, electrical infrared panels can be added.

From the spacious terrace (21 sqm) you can marvel at the lush green of the wooded mountain slopes, or down into the valley. A staircase leads to the fenced gardens (5.000 m²) touching on the surrounding hills.
Here you can relax on a covered terrace, grill your steak on the stonewalled barbecue, or enjoy the evening by an open fire, proposing a toast to the awakening crickets. Maybe you’ll just sit down under an apple tree, listen to the birds, and let your thoughts drift …

Here you will find traditional houses and villas scattered in the pastoral village of Vale, right at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains. A perfect place to escape from offices and urban exaggerations. And an excellent choice for lovers of untouched nature, who prefer to wander through intact forests and taste a pinch of rural serenity, instead of splashing around in the chlorinated pool of a 5-star hotel.

We are located in the special area of the Marginimea Sibiului, called the 'home of shepherds'. Due to the special mixture of Daco-Roman architecture and traditions, Saxon fortified churches, traditional crafts and unique local gastronomy, the region has been declared a 'European Destination of Excellence'. On the one hand in the middle of nowhere, on the other hand only traditional houses and villas scattered in the pastoral village of Vale, the 'European Capital of Culture' in the heart of Romania.

The village nestles on a mountain slope overlooking the vast Transylvanian plain. It is touched by a tarmac road but there are mostly cobblestoned streets and dirt trails leading up into the hills. There you walk through the oldest beech forest of the continent to reach the mountain meadows with its unique flora and fauna, where your neighbors will be sheep and horses grazing freely.

We offer two spacious villas for special demands, three cottages renovated in a traditional style, and a small but comfortable apartment. All homes are self catering accommodations and spread in the village. They have been built from scratch or refurbished from old farmhouses by our own villager-based construction company within nine years of intense work.
We combined local building styles and craftsmanship with contemporary materials, proceeding always with attention to detail and respect towards the traditions of the area. It was a pleasure to watch the cottages grow and their souls revive, while preserving the simplicity of bygone times.

The result is an encounter of different ages and cultures in five oases of well-being, each of them having their distinctive and special ambiance in a place which - as we hope - will remain for a long time spared from the hustle of civilizational imbalances.

Each home has a fully equipped kitchen for self catering, high-speed Wi-Fi, a washing machine and at least a terrace. The two villas also offer a living room with fireplace and a garden with barbecue and parking. Exceptional cleanliness awaits you everywhere.
