The ideal holiday has a different meaning now. Tourists are now looking for unique places, in the middle of nature, where they can enjoy privacy and comfort with their loved ones and where they can make unforgettable memories.

Location

Luxury Lake House Vila is located on a exclusive domain of 30.000 sqm in Valea Doftanei, right on the shore of Paltinu Lake, in the middle of a secular trees forest, surrounded by Baiului and Grohotis Mountains, being without a doubt a unique place in Romania.

The villa has a position in an enchanting geographical area, in a hollow with soft climate, fresh air with therapeutic properties. The forest and the turqoise lake, called „ the sea between the mountains” enchants a fascinating scenery in every moment of day and in every season, as it looks like it has been taken from a fairytale world.

The Concept

The concept of our villa began with the idea of discreetely getting back to nature and integrating almost perfectly in the scenery by becoming one with nature.

We used natural materials and minimalist design so that nature can be in the center of your attention. The construction which is almost fully glazed will offer you the privilege of a nature and scenery communion, even when you are inside.

Everywhere you look, the forest and lake seem to be part of the house interior, giving you the impression that you live in an Impressionist painting.

The big terraces hug the tree trunks which seem to grow out of them, in an unusual design while the fire from the exterior fireplace will offer you the perfect setting for a romantic evening when you can have a glass of wine or champagne with your loved ones.

The strong indoor-outdoor feeling is completed by the lake colour which changes during the day and also by the trees which change their colours from season to season, the cooling of the forest which will welcome and embrace you when you decide to stay with us.

You will get the chance to spend time on the private beach which is located on the lake shore or you can choose to enjoy the infinity pool with a unique design where you can relax or swim the entire day. The pool parties which we can organise will bring you the appreciation of the friends you will invite. Cocktails and fun by the pool, in the forest, on the lake shore, this is all you can ask for a holiday evening!

On our private domain, when you go through a stone portico, you will discover a secret garden full of flowers and shrubs carefully grown, offering you a chance to relax and enjoy the view.

Even though you will be in the middle of nature, in the forest, on the lake shore, at the mountain, you will have all the comfort of a exclusivist location: Smart TV with a lot of channels, free and perfect wifi access, a smartphone dedicated to those who have no signal on their own phones, portable speakers to listen to your favourite music, fridge, electric stove and oven, microwave, so every facility you need and even more.

The interior of the villa is designed in a boutique glamour way which gives aesthetic and functional satisfaction to our guests.

During your stay, you will have a personal butler who will be at your disposal. We have champagne for breakfast, together with fine French cheese. You can choose the traditional option with local products of the best quality.

Places you don't want to miss

As our villa is only 110 km (90 minutes) from Bucharest and only 18 km from Sinaia and Peles Castle, you can easily go to places you want to visit.

The Natural Reservation of Glodeasa Forest is nearby and it is one of the few virgin forests from Europe, considered to be a protected area.

Only 15 minutes away there is the Brebu Monastery Complex and the Royal Court of Matei Basarab, an architectural and cultural jewelry, one of the few medieval monuments from Romania which was perfectly preserved.

Valea Doftanei is also known for the Local Cheese Festival (Festivalul Cascavelei), a traditional product which is unique in Romania. It is not cheese, nor cheddar, but it has a strong scent from the hardwood they use to smoke it. Its recipe has been given from generation to generation.

The exquisite taste has amazed so many people that they had to dedicate a festival which is attended by people from all around the country.

The location of the domain right on Paltinu Lake will offer you the chance to go fishing or kayaking. We will offer the equipment. Ceva de vis

O locatie mirifica, intr-o padure de foioase, pe malul lacului, la doar o ora si jumatate de Bucuresti. De la piscina incalzita din care vezi lacul, la micul dejun exceptional,de la ospitalitatea personalului si curatenia din casa,totul este la superlativ. O loocatie facuta cu bun gust si deservita de 3 oameni minunati.

Superba locatie, intr-o padure seculara, pe malul lacului, perfect accesibila si la numai o ora si jumatate de Bucuresti. Chiar ca te simti ca in paradis, este greu de explicat in cuvinte toate senzatiile pe care le traiesti. Numai cine ajunge acolo poate intelege.
