Snagov Garden is a fairytale destination, a refined combination between the beauty of nature and the cultural richness of Romanian traditions, offering a perfect refuge for those who want an escape away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Located just 30 kilometers from Bucharest, this idyllic location is a sanctuary of tranquility and authenticity, reviving the charm of the Romanian village in a spectacular, yet discreet way, maintaining an intimate atmosphere, ideal for relaxation or special events.
Restaurant
The restaurant, set in a vintage atmosphere, serves traditional Romanian dishes with a modern touch, using fresh local ingredients.
Here you can taste dishes such as polenta with bellows cheese, sarmales or pies, all cooked according to old recipes, passed down from generation to generation.
In the location you can find the experience of a live grill that combines Romanian gastronomic traditions with modern cooking techniques.
Accommodation
Snagov Garden offers 12 rooms located in authentic Maramures houses over 100 years old, each bearing the name of the place from where they were displaced. Casa Breb, Rona and Bârsana are true works of art, reconstructed with respect for the national heritage, preserving every detail of the original constructions, from the hand-hewn wooden beams to the old ironwork and clay or stone decorations.
Through the materials used, the design, the decorative details and their functionality, these houses tell the story of a rich tradition that continues to be valued even today. Little Maramureș in Snagov, with its picturesque houses, is thus a place that reflects the beauty and richness of Romanian heritage.
The rooms maintain a perfect balance between traditional Romanian style and contemporary comfort. Each room is individually decorated with authentic elements – hand-woven carpets, hand-painted solid wood furniture and handicrafts, offering a unique experience to each guest.
Activities
For those who want more than relaxation, Snagov Garden offers a variety of activities. Guests can explore the surroundings by bicycle, go boating on Lake Snagov, or visit the Snagov Monastery, steeped in history and legend. For the little ones, the activities are diverse: from playgrounds, visits to the animal farm, the orchard, fruit picking.
Traditional craft workshops are also organized, where visitors can learn the secrets of pottery and weaving, bringing them closer to Romanian traditions. Both adults and children can enjoy outdoor activities such as football, volleyball or badminton.
