Description
WildKind is a nature retreat at the edge of Calimani National Park, in the village of Sarisor, Bucovina, at 1000 m altitude. Two private tiny houses sit on 8.5 hectares of spruce forest and open pasture, each with its own kitchen, bathroom, and a king size bed tucked into the loft.
The land around you is unhurried. A small pond with dragonflies, a birch grove, a sycamore maple thought to be around 200 years old, hammocks strung between the trees, and a campfire for cool mountain evenings. Electric bikes are available for exploring the surrounding countryside, and there are plenty of national park trails nearby, including to the old Sulphur Quarry and to the Twelve Apostles nature reserve.
There is no television, by design. The cabins have free wi-fi, though we quietly encourage you to use it as little as possible and just soak in the nature around.
WildKind is a social enterprise. A portion of every stay supports our educational program connecting children from vulnerable backgrounds with the natural world.
Vatra Dornei is 15 km away, with several shops and a train station. We meet every guest in person at check in and are happy to arrange a transfer either from the train station or the airport if needed.

Separate recycling bins are available for guests' use. We kindly ask you to sort your waste during your stay.
Quiet hours
Out of respect for the natural surroundings and other guests, quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
