The first house we acquired was the residence of the Bethlen Estates’ caretaker before the wars.
Situated adjacent to a Renaissance granary opposite the Manor House and a short stroll from the Castle, the Caretaker’s House is perched on a hill overlooking the village.
Great care was taken over its restoration to preserve its old character while adding some modern elements for our guests’ comfort.
It sleeps 8 people in 4 double bedrooms with en suite bathroom. Our ultimate aim is to make our guests feel at home, to actively want to spend time in the house, to enjoy a good book, a glass of whiskey or wine, and to spend quality time with family.
