The Story of Old Barn House
The village of Chinari, located just a few kilometers from Târgu Mureș, is a peaceful settlement nestled between rolling hills, where life flows at a slower pace. Here, nature and tradition still go hand in hand, and locals preserve the genuine hospitality of Transylvanian villages.
Old Barn House was born from the desire to bring back the charm of old countryside homes, but with all the comfort a modern guest could wish for. The house has been carefully restored and furnished using only solid natural wood, keeping its rustic, authentic style while adding a premium touch.
We offer our guests 5 spacious rooms, each with a private bathroom and a comfortable double bed, decorated with handcrafted wooden furniture and rustic details.
What you’ll find at Old Barn House:
- Barbecue area and traditional bread oven – for outdoor meals just like in the old days.
- Sauna, salt room, and jacuzzi – your very own corner of relaxation.

At the same time, it is the ideal place for those seeking peace, quiet, and relaxation away from the urban hustle.
