Kokel Pension is located in the ancient Armenian town Dumbrăveni, founded in the 14th century on the Târnava Mare’s shore, in a hilly area with stunning views. It has 12 deluxe rooms, breakfast room, restaurant, bar, terrace and a gaming room.
Whatever your reasons are for staying at Kokel entertainment center, we will strive to offer you the hours of peace and relaxation you need, away from the urban turmoil and to create unforgettable memories.
We invite you, therefore, to start your day with a delicious coffee and a delicious breakfast, and for lunch or dinner, we look forward to welcoming you to Kokel's restaurant. In the summer season, there is the rustic ambience of our terrace, where you can spend special evenings with special guests, such as Stefan Banica Jr., Holograf, Direction 5, Marcel Pavel, etc.
You can pamper yourself with the various cocktails served at the bar and with our dishes prepared with the Transylvanian soul and craftsmanship.
And if you are still our guest, we strongly recommend a tour of Dumbrăveni. A walk through the center of this ancient Transylvanian town will take you to a stately cathedral dominating the central square, the Baroque-style Armenian- Catholic Cathedral, a goal you should not miss!
Also in Dumbrăveni you will be able to visit the Apafi Castle, which in the meantime became the Museum Collection of Transylvanian Armenians. We also recommend the various tourist attractions around the city, namely the Medieval Fortress of Sighisoara, about 18 km away, the Biertan Fortified Church located 11 km away from our pension, the Mediaş Fortress, and if you visited us in August, it is necessary to see the wonderful Land of Tuberoses in Hoghilag. As an alternative to entertainment and relaxation, we are pleased to recommend a equitation session at the Equitation Center of the Prod village.
So, once you arrive in Dumbrăveni, we hope you will experience the feeling that you have come to a place where people live at a different pace, infinitely quieter than that of large urban agglomerations.
