    The Magic Cottage is a Homestay.

    Situated in a peaceful village 3.5 kilometers from the famous Salina Praid and 15 kilometers from the beautiful spa town of Sovata, The Magic Cottage offers modern comfort in a newly renovated old traditional cottage. Set in an English style cottage garden, at the top of the village, guests can enjoy absolute peace and relaxation.

    The loft has been converted into a spacious apartment with an extremely comfortable Queen size bed and a a luxurious bathroom with stand alone slipper bath and it's own terrace overlooking the garden and the forest.

    There is another downstairs terrace for breakfast.

    Guests are welcome to use the cottage kitchen. Please co-ordinate with Rosie and the kittens.

    The guests have their own private entrance to the property. There is parking in the lane outside the cottage. I'm an experienced host. I'm living in a cabin on the property and I'm always available to assist guests.

    The water supply can be interrupted in times of severe drought.

    The last 750 meters of the road to the house is a rustic village lane.

    An authentic, soulful, relaxing experience
    Rosieșs Magic Cottage definitely lives up to its name. The place is exactly as pictured: clean, comfy, peaceful, put together with a wonderful sense of design and practicality. Itșs extra entertaining if youșre a lover of cats :) Rosie herself could deliver a masterclass in hospitality. She thinks of all the details one would need for a comfortable stay (from coffee to umbrellas), definitely exceeding expectations. This is not a “luxury” hotel youșre booking, but an authentic, soulful, relaxing experience. Weșre grateful to have been her guests and are eager to return.

    Charming en-suite in a wonderfully-restored country cottage. The attention to detail here is delightful - the hand-made bedsheets, the traditional vintage decorations, the bathroom amenities and the freshly-baked threats are just a few of the many things we loved while staying here. The host is friendly and inspiring, with tons of suggestions for activities in the area, and the resident cats are sociable and playful. We hope to visit again some day soon!

    Lovely wooden cottage
    We came here for the wedding anniversary and it was a wise choise. It was love at first sight, every single thing was put where it nedded to be. The cottage had a lovely upstairs veranda, and an unique bathtub (the thing that struck me most when choosing this location). It was a clean, comfortable and intimate cottage. We loved it. Also, Rosie was a nice and helpful host for us, she make us to feel like home. She prepared a great breakfast for us, the kitchen being equipped with everything we needed to prepare our dinner. We enjoyed it very much! Hope to go again soon!

    “Work from home” heaven
    Extremely good wi-fi, natural light, cozy room and complete silence...well, except for the birdsș trill. We stayed here for 4 days. You have that home away from home feeling, Rosie is so inspiring and her cakes are just the cherry on top :) we will come back here for sure, next time with more time for enjoying the fairytale surroundings.
