Fully immerse yourself in Romanian wildlife on a private brown bear watching tour! From the safety of a secluded hide you can enjoy up to three uninterrupted hours of nature observation to maximize your chances of bear sightings.

A few hours before sunset you will meet the local ranger and he will take you with his 4wd car deep into the forest, and guide you to the hide. Here you will seat yourself, stay quiet, listen to the forest wildlife sounds and enjoy the excitement of waiting as the first animals start to appear.

You may observe bears feeding, playing together, courting and mating, and even other species like wild boars, roe deer and red deer, fox, badger and some game birds, in rare cases even lynx or wolf.

Please note

Please avoid wearing perfume, it may scare away the wild animals from the hide.

You should set your phone and camera so that the sounds and lights are not disturbing the animals, as they are very sensible to these.

Your forest ranger guide accompanying you may carry a handgun for your protection in extreme situations.

This experience is available between April-October and requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a reschedule or a full refund.
