Description

What gives this place its charm is the harmonious combination of modern and archaic in a way which is NOT kitsch, turning this guesthouse into a time machine. The modern comfort of these rooms where you have both LCDs and private bathrooms will make you feel like home.

The scenery is not spectacular but it certainly is beautiful. We are located in the heart of Suceava, at the confluence of Moldova and Moldovita, waters which gave the name to a country, in the place where the great ranges of Bucovina meet and chat: Obcina Mare, Obcina Feredeului and Obcina Mestecănișului, so from spring to autumn you can walk the nearby hills, picking chicory, bladdernut and St John's wort flowers or you can admire the sheep farms.

The blue in which Masivul Rarau or even Giumalaul reflect will hit your eyes while you listen to the birds singing. There's a great chance to find berries and mushrooms in the forest. During winter, you can ride in a horse-drawn sleigh, your feet dipped in hay, bundled up in wool rugs or you can taste the smoky pork.

The monasteries are so close when you have a car. You can ride a bike or go hiking and in the evening the host will wait for you with traditional pies, wine and afinata.

You will not want to go back to work! And, if you leave, one thing will be on your mind: Casa Bunicii is the place where you come over and over again to revive!

Access to Casa Bianca is available by airplane (transfer from Salcea- Suceava airport) or by train (you go down at Vama station). On request, transfer can be done by the guesthouse's cars.

On request, we can serve traditional Bucovina meals!
