Description
Conacul Grigorescu is a Slow Food destination in the UNESCO Global Geopark Buzău Land, created for guests who want more than a meal: a farm-to-table experience brought together in one beautiful, relaxed place: on a restored estate, around a historical 1930 mansion with large garden, renovated and partially rebuilt over 10+ years. An educational organic farm nearby at the Buzau river is under development and will expand future learning programs for families and kids. Conacul Grigorescu hosts also the head quarter of the Slow Food Community Buzău Land.
Grigorescu Mansion is not a classic restaurant or a fine dining establishment, but a place to taste, learn, and reconnect with where food comes from. The location offers 3 apartments in the spacious courtyard, in the renovated or newly built guest houses of the mansion, with accommodation for 6 adults and 6 children.
Lunch is served at the Farm-to-Table Restaurant at weekends (11.00-17.00). The bar/restaurant offers a limited selection of dishes made with farm produce for dinner to guests staying at the guesthouse, until 9 pm on weekdays and weekends. Please do not bring food and drink from outside.
An outdoor swimming pool is available for guests that book accommodation at our place.
Nearby attractions are the future UNESCO Geopark Land of Buzau (Muddy Volcanoes, Salt Mountains, Living fires, Amber Museum, Cave churches of Buzau), the wine area Dealu Mare or sport activities like hiking, biking, rafting, kayaking etc.).

• Our own shop “Rafineturi - Fine Food from Grigorescu Mansion” offers fine food preserves (fruits & vegetables) from own production, souvenirs from Buzau and gift baskets.
