Description
A few years ago, hopelessly and steeply in love with Porumbacu de Sus and Transylvania country side, we bought a property in the village.
A family house, a farm house and a summer kitchen were the three settled houses that we completely renovated.
The result shows many spectacular elements, stairs, windows, furniture elements, floors, the courtyard and the back garden that have been combined not by chance and live happily.
And that energy that made us say I would like to live here has been preserved.
Thus, there are and coexist in harmony three distinct spaces/apartments on our property that can be booked together or separately.
We have a common space for all guests on the property that has multiple functions. Downstairs is a living room where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner or it can become a space for relaxation whether the entire property is rented by a group or several unrelated people. Upstairs we have a second relaxation space where you are invited to take a book from the library or, why not, leave one there. There is also a professional kitchen on the ground floor that is not intended for guests and we do not allow access.
As part of our hospitality experience, you will find a coffee machine in your room with 2 capsules per person provided by the house - a little treat to start your holiday.
If you would like more, additional capsules are available for 6 lei each.
We also serve all meals upon request, and please request information before arrival if you would like to have a meal.
A carafe of fresh filtered water awaits you in the rooms (be careful, the tap water is not drinkable), but each apartment also has a mini fridge containing bottled water, wine and small snacks for a fee.
