Description
Varvara Holiday Resort, located at the mouth of the Danube Delta in a natural paradise setting, enchants and surprises with the originality and attention to details, in reinterpreting the beauty of the old Romanian tradition and giving it a modern twist.
Our location offers for rent 6 authentic Romanian houses, where the elements of the former rural culture are put into value in harmony with nature and man.
The contemporary luxury and comforts of modern life are found in each of the cottages.
Beside its own terrace, which overlooks the Somova-Parches lake network, each house has a fully equipped kitchen so our guests can benefit from maximum autonomy. Each house in the complex has a name that represents it.
Meals
We are registered as a local gastronomic point, therefore, we cook hearty meals with fresh culinary preparations, according to traditional recipes, upon request.
Divertisment
Varvara Holiday Resort also organizes boat trips for all tastes. Full day, half-day excursions, by boat with traditional lunch served in authentic locations in the delta.
A Saffari in the Letea forest by horse carriage is a must.
We rent kayaks and offer free bicycles for short hikes on the hills of Somova.
Varvara Tourist Complex also offers 2 outdoor swimming pools that are only solely for the use of our guests; a barbeque in the courtyard, and an open gazebo in an oasis of tranquillity that is a good retreat for the authentic seekers of serene and undisturbed nature.
