Carpathian Log Home is a complex of two identical wooden chalets with outstanding architecture, unique in Romania. The chalets are located in Bran, just 2 km away from the famous Dracula’s Castle, but away from the buzzing touristy centre, at the foot of the forest. Sitting on a high position, the views from the chalets are amazing, having the village at its feet and two mountain ranges on three sides, Bucegi and Piatra Craiului.
The chalets are located on a generous 6000 sqm land, having their own gazebos and barbecues, along with al fresco dining facilities. The chalets are ideal for families/groups of friends wanting to relax in the nature, away from the crowded cities but close enough to many popular touristic attractions such as Brașov, Sighișoara, Sibiu, Transfăgărășan, Peleș. During the last 6 years we’ve hosted visitors from 6 continents and over 80 countries. Families from all over the country have reunited at Carpathian Log Home chalets, our position in central Romania being perfect for such reunions.
Carpathian Log Home chalets are ideally located for outdoor activities, Piatra Craiului National Park being just 300 meters away from us. In the chalets you’ll find hiking maps for the surroundings mountains, as well as touristic brochures and leaflets for the nearby attractions: Bran Castle, Râșnov Fortress, the medieval fortresses and fortified churches, Dino Park Râșnov, adventure parks in Brașov and Poiana Mărului, Libearty Bear Reservation in Zărnești, the ski slopes in Poiana Brașov and Bran. We can put you in contact with qualified mountain guides, paragliding, horseback riding and climbing instructors.
