Casa Bunicilor is a fairytale guesthouse, made entirely of wood, a true delight for the eyes of every traveler wandering around Apuseni. Both the exterior and the interior of the house were made so that the old can live in harmony with the new and the good taste from the old times can live in balance with the modern comfort.
The wood was always the element which people living in the mountains felt closest to, starting from the food plate to the beams which supported the entire house, forged by hatchet.
In the heart of Transylvania, far away from the people who are always looking for new, this old house, located at a fork in the road begins its story again, reviving the charm of the old Romanian traditional style with soft modern elements which enhance the comfort for a unique holiday.
This is Casa Bunicilor which dates back to the year of 1925, the house which kept several generations under its roof, which was restored in 2020, turning into an oasis of tranquility for those who cross its threshold.
Râmetului Gorges, Geogelului Gorges, The wooden church (historical monument) are a few of the tourist attractions of the area.
