A Taste of the Local Heritage
Meals are served in a specially arranged dining area, where traditional dishes and drinks are lovingly prepared and presented by your hosts — proudly dressed in authentic Maramureș folk costumes.

For special occasions, the hosts organize festive dinners and themed events featuring traditional music and dances specific to the village of Ieud. These authentic gatherings create unforgettable cultural experiences.
- Farm-to-Table Living
Casa Tradițiilor also operates its own working farm, home to hundreds of sheep and goats, dozens of cows, horses, and poultry. Guests are welcome to visit the animals and see how they’re raised. Most ingredients used in our kitchen — eggs, milk, cheese, and meat — come straight from our farm and are 100% natural.
Bread is baked in our wood-fired oven, while jam, fruit syrups, and plum preserves are handcrafted using traditional recipes. Potatoes and vegetables are also grown with care by our hosts, ensuring every meal is fresh, local, and deeply rooted in tradition.
