Description
Portița Spre Deltă appeared in our lives as a fulfillment of our journey after many years spent in the tourism field. The road finally led us to the dream house. Walking through the gate and looking ahead we remained speechless. The lake view from the yard was absolutely amazing; the wide green land, birds singing, all were completing an incredible and magical story.
The Bulgarian house wasn’t in her best shape, but the lake view surely hypnotized us. The first thought that came to our minds was that we have to share this feeling and experience with other guests.
In 2021 we started restoring the old doors and windows, but we realised that it wasn’t the result we expected from the point of view of noise and energy saving, so we immediately rethought the plan and with the help of a local carpenter we finally replaced all of them with new ones. At the end of the journey the result exceeded all our expectations.
We were amazed to find afterwards that the house completed all of our wishes, it was built before 1940 and belonged in the past to the village tax collector.
The house hosts two different traditional thematic apartments. For more privacy each one has his own entrance.
Apartment Razelm is the biggest one with two bedrooms separated by a hallway arranged as a small living room and a bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower.
Apartment Golovita is smaller than Razelm with a bedroom, living room and bathroom with walk-in shower. Due to the lovely porch where you can admire amazing sunsets sitting on the wood bench and the fireplace that gave the old stove a new utility this apartment has its magical strenghts.
The house offers also a small kitchen equipped with all is necessary for preparing the meals, a patio with tables, library and TV, an outside terrace, a barbeque grill and a playground with lake view for children.
All the picture is completed by the positioning of the house in the multi-ethnical area of Jurilovca and the proximity to terraces and restaurants, to the Jurilovca Harbour from where you can take trips to Gura Portiței beach or to the ancient fortresses Argamum or Enisala.
