Description
Ranger Chalet is a cosy, rural villa that offers great stays to its guests and stunning views towards the Bucegi massif! It has been fully refurbished in 2021.
It is settled in the village of Moieciu de Sus, Transylvania, inside the Carpathian mountain range, 180 km distance from Bucharest, 35 km distance from Brasov and 12 km distance from Bran.
The space
The guesthouse is a beautiful, wooden building, set by the river that crosses the village, and offers space for 16 guests in 6 double rooms with ensuite bathrooms.
The wooden work in the house has been handcrafted by the owners, who have a long tradition in carpentry. The inside is organized as follows: on the ground floor there's the entrance, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room.
On the 1st floor thereșs the living room and 2 large rooms that can accommodate 4 persons each.
On the 2nd floor there are 4 double rooms.
All 6 bedrooms have ensuite bathroom with shower, toiletries and hair dryer. The beds are matrimonial, with double cover.
Wifi access is free of charge for the guests. In the garden at the side of the house, there is a barbeque area and a terrace which lies on the riverside.
At the back of the house, on a higher position, there's a relaxation area with chaise longues and swings with beautiful views over the valley.
Activities
The surrounding area includes the Bucegi Mountain range which offers the possibility of larger or shorter hikes; the city of Brasov (35 km away); the city of Bran (12 km away) - with the famous Dracula's Castle; Sinaia (50 km away), with its ancient monastery and the famous Peles Castle; Sighisoara (150 km away), the one unique European city which still preserves untouched its medieval aspect; and Bucharest (180 km away), the capital of Romania.
On request, we organise transfers, guided trekking and hiking trips, and cultural visits to Brasov, Bran, Rasnov, Peles Castle, Sighisoara.
