In the late 1950s, local craftsmen came together and built a barn on one of the most panoramic hills of the scenic village of Sirnea, at an altitude of about 1,200m high. More than 60 years later, using its old stone and wooden core while adding modern eco-friendly materials, The Barn was revived and welcomes you to refresh and to fully charge your batteries.
During these years, the only things left untouched were the astonishing view of the imposing Bucegi Mountains, with peaks as high as 2,500m and the nearby limestone kingdom of Piatra Craiului, with its ridge sitting quietly at above 2,000m.
The Barn has a sleeping area with a queen size bed, a living room with an extendable sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, QLED TV and wi-fi. This will be your home away from home.
Bucharest is around 3 hours’ drive away (you can also use the route via Targoviste in case of traffic congestion on Prahova Valley), you can reach Brasov in less than 1 hour and Sibiu in less than 3 hours.
