The cottage can be reached by 4x4 car or on foot. The ascent is 800m, approximately 15\20min to climb on foot. The maximum comfort temperature is 24 degrees.

Historically, Holbavul is part of the region of Șara Bârsei. On its territory there were mines of lead, coal and silver (the first extractions were made in the 19th century, rudimentary). It is a quiet village where people live according to the old customs
