An authentic, soulful, relaxing experience

Rosieșs Magic Cottage definitely lives up to its name. The place is exactly as pictured: clean, comfy, peaceful, put together with a wonderful sense of design and practicality. Itșs extra entertaining if youșre a lover of cats :) Rosie herself could deliver a masterclass in hospitality. She thinks of all the details one would need for a comfortable stay (from coffee to umbrellas), definitely exceeding expectations. This is not a “luxury” hotel youșre booking, but an authentic, soulful, relaxing experience. Weșre grateful to have been her guests and are eager to return.

Charming en-suite in a wonderfully-restored country cottage. The attention to detail here is delightful - the hand-made bedsheets, the traditional vintage decorations, the bathroom amenities and the freshly-baked threats are just a few of the many things we loved while staying here. The host is friendly and inspiring, with tons of suggestions for activities in the area, and the resident cats are sociable and playful. We hope to visit again some day soon!

Lovely wooden cottage

We came here for the wedding anniversary and it was a wise choise. It was love at first sight, every single thing was put where it nedded to be. The cottage had a lovely upstairs veranda, and an unique bathtub (the thing that struck me most when choosing this location). It was a clean, comfortable and intimate cottage. We loved it. Also, Rosie was a nice and helpful host for us, she make us to feel like home. She prepared a great breakfast for us, the kitchen being equipped with everything we needed to prepare our dinner. We enjoyed it very much! Hope to go again soon!

“Work from home” heaven

Extremely good wi-fi, natural light, cozy room and complete silence...well, except for the birdsș trill. We stayed here for 4 days. You have that home away from home feeling, Rosie is so inspiring and her cakes are just the cherry on top :) we will come back here for sure, next time with more time for enjoying the fairytale surroundings.

Magic Cottage, Magic Rosie

Everything is magic at Rosie. The view, the cottage, the design, the Rosie puts the breakfast and waits for you and the vibe. It is a wonderful energy and silence, that you feel you are born again. We stayed for 3 nights and we visited the Salina Praid, Sighisoara and Corund with the ceramic shops. If you go to Corund visit and ask for the Ilyes Family. The have a nice shop and ceramics workshop were you can create everything you wish. There are really nice and warm people everywhere you go. Thank you, Rosie for reminding us how to apreciate the simple things. It was amazing. I wish all romanians should learn how to be the perfect host from you. Simply amazing. We hope to be back really soon.

A dreamy loft in the attic

You really have to book this place! It brings a lot of tranquility and a great mix of cultures that you wonșt find anywhere else in Romania. Rosie, the host, has a magic power to make you feel like home from the very begining of your stay. The place is so nice decorated and we had a great sleep in the nicest indian bedsheets Ișve ever slept in. The room is warm during the winter and makes you want to stay inside, reading a book or just enjoy doing nothing. The kitchen is very well equiped but if you donșt want to cook there are plenty of good restaurants in Praid or Sovata. We enjoyed the silence, the dim light during the evenings, the beauty that surrounds you all over the place. You wonșt see all of it it in the photos, trust me. Rosie has another magic power that made us to put the place on the list for future stays.We are defintely coming back!

We had a great stay at the Magic Cottage. The room is beautiful, quiet and filled with natural light during the day. All the facilities were clean and well tended after. There is also a kitchen available for cooking, very well equipped. We also used the room to work remotely and the wifi was very good. During our stay the weather was cold and snowy so it was perfect that inside everything is cozy and warm and the room has plenty of sitting places where one can cuddle with a good book. Besides the close-by attractions in Praid and Sovata, near the cabin there are beautiful hills and a forest where we took walks during the afternoon. We felt very welcome here and hope to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the beautiful courtyard and terrace.

Extremely lovely and nice place!

I would start by telling that this place is from the fairy-tales! We were a couple and stayed for 6 nights. The room is more beautiful than pictures, it's lovely and very cozy. Also the place is what we have searched for, beautiful landscapes to watch while enjoying a coffee, lovely cats to play with, super clean and more than 4* hotel conditions. And more than that, Rosie is a super host indeed and an enjoyable person! We appreciated the time we spent with her, talking and sharing experiences and also appreciated the level of caring for the customers. This was a 5* stay. We will definitely come again in the summer to stay and enjoy the surroundings and a cup of coffee with Rosie.
