Casa Chira is not an accommodation, it is a place for soul, it is the dream of two young people which was materialized in an authentic Maramures corner, a wooden house equipped with all the comforts of the modern world and where every corner confesses the master’s toil, the desire to preserve the ancestral identity of Maramures and the soul of Ana – the warm hostess.
The house is ideal for a quiet stay in the heart of Maramures, being located on the riverside of Vaser, not far from the starting point of the legendary Mocanita, the steam train used to transport timber exploited in the Northern Carpathians.
If you are looking for the wooden churches – UNESCO monuments, monasteries – real monuments of traditional architecture or mountains for some easy or strenuous routes, depending on your physical trainingor just to relaxe for a few days in the generous yard of a traditional house, then we are waiting for you with open arms and much love.
