The Magic Cottage is a Homestay.
Situated in a peaceful village 3.5 kilometers from the famous Salina Praid and 15 kilometers from the beautiful spa town of Sovata, The Magic Cottage offers modern comfort in a newly renovated old traditional cottage. Set in an English style cottage garden, at the top of the village, guests can enjoy absolute peace and relaxation.
The loft has been converted into a spacious apartment with an extremely comfortable Queen size bed and a a luxurious bathroom with stand alone slipper bath and it's own terrace overlooking the garden and the forest.
There is another downstairs terrace for breakfast.
Guests are welcome to use the cottage kitchen. Please co-ordinate with Rosie and the kittens.
The guests have their own private entrance to the property. There is parking in the lane outside the cottage. I'm an experienced host. I'm living in a cabin on the property and I'm always available to assist guests.
The water supply can be interrupted in times of severe drought.
The last 750 meters of the road to the house is a rustic village lane.

One of the best places I've been to!
The Magic Cottage is a great place to relax, recharge and enjoy the simple things. The room is absolutely lovely and the bath is a really nice feature. It's very relaxing to sit at the outside table in the evenings, have a cup of tea or wine and share stories with Rosie - which is one of the nicest hosts I've encountered. The decor from the cottage is fascinating, the loving cats are quite a bonus and the garden is an oasis of peace. You can take walks around the village, visit Praid / Sovata or hike to the near-by salt mountain. I'll definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone who needs a relaxing holiday!
Authentic experiences
We had a 3 night stay, and stayed one more just to enjoy the cottage. We had a lovely stay, Rosie is a dear who's more than happy to help with everything you need. It was a great experience, we found peace and quite, fresh air and really nice host.

Perfect Holiday
We had a perfect holiday at the Magic Cottage. We stayed there for 3 nights.
The cottage is beautiful, you fell like in a fairy tail, everything is decorated with small details that make a difference and turn the cottage in to a "magic cottage".
The place is very clean with everything you need at hand.
Our host, Rosie was lovely, we enjoyed chatting with her, she was so nice and helpful, making us feel at-home. Rosie prepared breakfast, the kitchen being equipped with everything you need to prepare your lunch/dinner.
We look forward to stay at the Magic Cottage next year.
Cozy and relaxing place
We really enjoyed the 3 nights spent at The Magic Cottage, it is a cozy place in a nice village. It's ideal for anyone who's searching for a relaxing environment where they can disconnect from the chaos of the city life. The host, Rosie, is a wonderful person, we enjoyed talking with her and she made us feel like we were visiting a friend, even though it was the first time we were there. The upstairs terrace has a nice view over the garden with all the flowers and decorations Rosie has beautifully laid out, and also over the forest where you can enjoy watching the sunset. The breakfast is very diverse, there are a lot of things you can choose from. We also enjoyed the two hammocks which are perfect for reading a book or just relaxing. Last but not least, we also had the chance to meet the most loveable cats, Mikla and Szarko, they will instantly become your best friends and will give you "purring therapy" sessions if you cuddle them.
